Members present- Amy Brown, Herb Lohse, Patty Kamas, Dan Rude , Bill Burns, John Larson, Stacie Penn, Craig Waldron, Ted Lillie, Jack Buckley , Rick Timm, Ric Pace, Jodi Christensen, Michele Willard, Marc Cove, Jack Burke and Frank Orsella.
City Update - Two businesses reopen in Oakdale. Espresso Coffee shop and Flicker Meats. Pinz and LA Fitness opening events set. Wii Fest was a hit May 9th at the Discovery Center. Mark your calendars for the Business Appreciation Breakfast. The business retention visits continue. Another summer full of great events, Farmers Market on Wednesday's starting June 10th. The summer concert series will kick off Wednesday June 25th. Finally, Summerfest is set for June 18th.
Treasurer's Report - Jack Burke reported checking balance is $1,655 and money market is $14,835.
School Update - Herb Lohse - The end of the year is here and we are having lots of award ceremonies right now. We briefly discussed who will continue to give us school updates after Herb Lohse retires.
Eggs and Issues - Rick Timm requested help from the committee on this very important meeting. He will be out of town right before the event. He is requesting we send an email blast to our members along with polling the board for questions for the panel.
June Picnic Update - Marc Cove gave us an update on supporting our new local meat market - Flicker Meats - for the hotdogs, Culvers will be doing the ice cream again and we will have a massage therapist there as well. He invited the entire board to join us in helping at the picnic on June 11th at 11:00 at the Oakdale Fire Station.
Scholarship Meeting Update - We will have a combined meeting for May doing committee highlights and Scholarships.
Two minute reports will be given by each of the board members explaining their roles.
Smoking Ban request - John Larson asked if we as a board should be involved in endorsing this type of request. There was much discussion about this topic, but in the end, came up with agreeing this was not an issue we would be involved in supporting.
Yellow Ribbon progress - Marc Cove continues to discuss this important initiative with other organizations already providing support to our troops. He continues to explore the need for our involvement and will find out more information in June to report back to us. .
Golf Fundraiser Update - Save the date for the Golf Tournament August 10th. Tony Schwartz requests that all Board Members participate in some fashion. They continue to look for sponsors and donations for holes.

Membership - Bill Burns states Flicker Meats is joining and so is Therapy Partners.
Guest Speaker – June is the picnic, and July speaker is to be announced.
